The 2024 football season will be his 25th year as a Texas High School football coach and his 4th as the head coach of Cedar Park High School. Previous coaching experience include one year as the head football coach at Red Oak High School where he established a 9-3 record and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Texas High School playoffs. Prior to Red Oak he was the defensive coordinator for Colleyville Heritage High School (2015-2017), Cedar Park High School for 9 years where the Timberwolves won the 2012 4A Division 2 State Championship and state runner-up in 2014 (2006-2015). He holds a bachelor’s degree from West Texas A&M University.
He has been married to his wonderful wife Tara for 7 years and has 2 amazing children: son Maddox (5) and daughter Avery (3).
